| I had been asked recently what sort of cameras I used for the photos on this site which was a simple prgression from the usual Box Brownie in 1962 to a 35mm Halina, 35mm Ilford Sportsman and finally a Russian Zenith B by 1967 until 1973 then onto a Nikon until 1989 and large format cameras. | Living so near to Rosegrove locoshed and from 1959 passing the station every weekday going to school and waiting for the 'namer' to appear on the Colne - Manchester stopper led to what some would call an obsession in railways and the first camera. That was the inevitable Brownie 127 and then countless cameras since.
